Disneyland

My "List of Things To Do Before I Leave Biola" included hitting Disneyland one more time while I still could. So Luke, Laurel, and I spent the day there on Nov 9th. For some reason I never got around to posting these, but here they are now:

Well, Luke was definitely happy to be there.
Oh wait, he looks like that most of the time... nevermind. :)

Yeah, this is our bragging pic.
The park was rather empty (and we like it that way)!

The whole park was decked out Christmas-style and looked really cool!

The Haunted House was transformed by Jack Skellington and his minions.

Laurel and I riding Segways HTs (yay!) They were really fun!

Luke having his turn on a Segway.
(I thought the lighting on this one was way cool.)

California Adventure -- this was the first time I'd ever been inside.

After a trip through the aforepictured rafting ride, we all came out a bit damp...

Did I mention the place was empty?

They had some cool woodsy walkways around a big camp-themed playground.

Luke and Laurel traversing the rope bridge.

Yeah, what you don't know is that we were 50 ft off the ground at this point... ahem... ;)

Laurel wisely suggested we visit the lobby of the Grand Californian Hotel...

...and the decor was really awesome.

The obligatory train station shot.

The newly repainted castle (and Luke gazing contemplatively into the moat).

On the hope that I might have been King Arthur in a former life...

Brittany (and her mom, who is taking the pic) joined us later in the day. And yes, we go to Biola! (At least, we all did then...)

Cool lights.

The castle looks really cool lit up at night.

Main Street

The only way SoCal sees "snow" -- clusters of tiny bubbles...
(Want snow? Come visit me.)

Awww, look at the engaged couple, aren't they cute!
